Modernization of a carousel line for headrest production.
A manufacturer from automotive sector was planning to increase the performance of its existing production machine. It was possible to extend several existing stations of the carousel machine with additional tools for molds.
However, this required modernization and development of control system for each station. On part of Kordecki Automation the project included:
- Preparation of an electric system based on the delivered materials – its update.
- Prefabrication of control cabinets for controlling heating of additional molds.
- Relocation of the existing control cabinets.
- Connection of the existing and new control system on the machine.
- Equipping cabinets with HARTING plugs and preparation cable bundles for connecting new molds.
- Equipping the system with single-duct temperature regulators with PID control.
- Preparation of final documentation.
